For Wallpaper Phobes: Modern Wall Decals

Marcia's friend Lea told her about an amazing, affordable product that will add zip to any little corner of your home. If you have the guts to do it, that is.

Check out http://www.whatisblik.com/. For around $30, you can buy cool, modern decals to define a space (great over a desk) or liven up a child's room. We particularly like the burgandy chandelier decal. Check out the photos gallery. How cool is that?

We think these decals would be great in a home office, powder room, mudroom, or laundry room. Or if you are Jan, and don't have any of those rooms, use a decal to dress up your entryway or foyer.

Here's the thing: if you don't like it or get sick of it--just peel it off. No paint involved. No harm done. What a great idea to jazz up your dining room for a dinner party. What a cool way to add some interest to a guest room. We are loving this idea!

Featured on the cover of Real Simple magazine, and used by Interior Designers in commercial settings...this is a trend-forward idea that gutsy gals like Marcia will use to stay one step ahead of their friends.

As for Jan, she's still toying with Tuscan. Trying to get that perfect faux plaster look. Poor Jan. Poor, poor Jan.

Let us know what you think!
