Philip was really in the dog house last year. In a desperate attempt to earn hubby brownie points with Jan, he presented her with two dozen of the world's tallest roses! Jan was slightly amused until she saw the Visa bill for $449.95! When are men like Philip going to learn that women like Jan DO NOT want roses for Valentine's Day. Roses only work their magic during the "courtin" years--when they are delivered to your office over a chorus of "oohs" and "aahs" from female coworkers. Roses are classic- but never on Valentines Day.
Saw some LOSER over the age of 30 buying a single red rose at the grocery store the other day. Pathetic.
