Marcia's flocked white tree is the fairest in all of the land.Jan's regular old green tree? Well, it's just fair.
Actually, the photo above was taken in Bayley's room. Marcia has six trees...all with room-appropriate themes.
But boy, that white tree sure is gorgeous.
Want to pick up a white tree to liven up your next Christmas but afraid to commit to such a radical idea? Have to have a real tree but would love a "secondary" theme tree for your dining room, foyer, or living room?
Jan's sister-in-law, Ginny, gave her a hot buy that is too good to pass up.
Right now at Sears, get a 6.5 foot white tree for $14.95. Yes, you heard right. And it gets better: the sonofabitch is PRE-LIT!!!!! Here's the description:
- The 6.5 ft. Arctic Mist White Tree is pre-lit with 500 clear lights with 919 branch tips. This 43 in. diameter base tree is made of PVC needles with hinge construction and flame retardant branches. A metal stand is included and assembly requires no tools. 2 year limited warranty on lights for pre-lit trees, and 10 year limited warranty on the tree.
And even though you can't even THINK about Christmas 2008, you'll be glad you did next year when you suddenly remember your beautiful new tree.
Here is a basic fake white tree all decked out:
Buy it here. While supplies last. Now, the tree is $14.37 if you pick it up at your local Sears store. Check online for availability. Jan didn't have any luck with this option and paid $18.97 for shipping. With tax that's $35.66 for the whole deal. Still! Plain white trees go for around $200. And pre-lit ones? Forget it. It's out of Jan's budget.
This is worth every dime.
Because every cool girl must have a white tree. Even if just for a moment.
